We currently train one week with the Gi and one week in Nogi. The reasoning is that some students have restricted schedules preventing them from training certain days. If each day was a set type of training then it is easy to never train in one or the other.
This also allows us to really deep dive on certain techniques specific to either. Think a week of squid guard or a week of heel hooks.

We don’t now and we never will. Wear what you like.

Yes! We love drop-ins. It is best if you can message us beforehand on the form below or on Instagram.

There are some limited spots in front of the gym on 300 West. Be mindful of the bus stop and not to block it.
There is additional parking in the neighborhoods east and west.

We require a membership or a day pass to attend open mats. This is due to the fact we have daily open mats. It would effectively make it possible for folks to train here full time without ever paying. We need to keep the lights on!

We do not currently have showers available.

Shoes, slides, flip flops, must be worn in the bathroom and hallway leading to the bathroom. We have slides you can wear if you don’t have any.
